I have had this monitor for a full year now. I have not had a single problem from it. Crystal clear picture,but the sound is not so good. I never really use the flip function. Not sure why anyone would.

I am very very picky about color because I am a graphic designer. This monitor saved me. In the past I could fine-tune my large CRT screens and really control what was going on, but the LCDs I've tried have been very disappointing until this one. Lack of on-screen accuracy has cost me time and money.
With the HP LP2275w there is even color and luminance in all areas of the screen. There are no color shifts when I move because of the extra large viewing angle and the smooth matte finish. The tests show top of the line color gamut, and I can discern more subtle shades of color than on other screens. The pivot feature is nice, though I rarely use it. If you are a gamer, you'll be happy with the default settings. For accurate print graphics, bring the contrast down to the 70 range, and lower the red 5 or 10 points. That's it.
There is a Display port connection, but my computer doesn't support that. I just use the DVI. There is no HDMI port.
The height adjustment and the front panel control buttons make adjustments easy.
From the research I did and after testing it myself, I would say this monitor offers a whole lot of high-end features at a surprisingly affordable price.

We ordered 2 monitors for a dual monitor setup in my husband's office. He has one in regular position and one vertical (portrait) for reviewing documents. He's very happy with the quality and color and convenience of being able to flip this monitor around.

I had a 22" Samsung which was great just the right size and brightness.But,this HP blows away the Samsung. The shiny display gives a more vivid and 3D quality to this monitor.HP fixed the bug they were having with the rotation problem of the monitor.If you like to watch your PORN like I do, this is the model for you.Just rotate the screen and enjoy!!!
