This is a Wenger - good quality and more than I anticipated. These are excellent everyday comfortable watches.

Great discount thro' AmazonMay 07, 2009
I bought this watch in December 2008, after reviewing a number of other "possibles". Total cost via Amazon (incl. free shipping) was $48.88. When the watch arrived it was accompanied by a slip stating that the watch's RRP was $225 -- which boosted my spirits no end . . . and I like the watch!

Awesome Swiss made pilot style watch from Wenger!Feb 16, 2009
I had originally purchased the Wenger Men's TerraGraph Automatic Swiss Watch #72766. I was so surprised by how much I liked it I had to try another Wenger. So I found this one and I really liked the pilot look and it's Swiss made. The watch has a black dial that has almost has a construction paper texture look to it or kinda like fine automotive sandpaper which is nice because it offsets the white shiny numerals and markers nicely. The red second hand is a nice touch as well. The hands and numbers are large and easy to read at a glance plus this watch has a really good lume to it, very bright and it out lasts any of my others. The case is 42mm, maybe about 44mm with the crown and has a nice brushed finish to it. I like the domed crystal, it's mineral not sapphire but that's not a big draw back for me. I have average size wrists and hands and I think it's just the right size for everyday wear. The strap fits me well but folks with larger wrists will need a longer one for sure. I am going to replace it with a red/black Bond nato strap. This watch can be had for a great price here on Amazon so I highly recommend you give it a try.

Wenger Value -- Impossible to BeatJan 27, 2009
I now own several Wengers and have nothing but praise for them. There is no other watchmaker, in my opinion, whose quality of fabrication and choice of movement (swiss eta) is as robust for the money as Wenger. Regardless of price, in fact, these watches can't be beat for either accuracy or reliability. I personally don't pay full retail for anything, but Wengers are actually worth their stated msrp, not something you can say about most watch brands.
